Makenzie Lynette Archer

Again, the photos are out of order, but I wanted to quickly get them posted. Here I am checking Makenzie out to see all her perfect features! Dave and Kris had told me she had big feet, but she doesn't. Maddie had really tiny feet, and babies have such little legs, sometimes their feet look a little larger. But she is perfect! What a beautiful baby! And of course, I am an extremely proud grandma! Greg was having a hard time with the glare off my glasses, so I took them off, and you can see marks on my nose from them. Pretty silly looking, but you can still tell how happy I am to be holding my third perfect grandchild in a row! You can't see in the photo, but while I was talking to her, if I touched her little chin, she would grin in her sleep. I know, some would argue babies don't grin that early, but it was sure cute. Here is another picture of baby Makenzie before we were allowed in to visit. This is an early picture Dave took of Makenzie that he sent on his phone to everyone to announce Makenzie's birth. Greg took some really cute pictures of Dave and Kris with the baby too, but I think we will wait and let Kris blog them when she gets home from the hospital.

I didn't even notice the glasses mark until after you mentioned it so I looked! Hey make sure she stays tiny for when we come ok?

Like I said earlier she is beautiful! But she comes from one hot gene pool! You look so happy and when I talked to you earlier you sounded so proud. I am glad you had such a special day. You guys all make such a cute family. I can't wait to have some birthday cake for baby Kenzie. Congrates to all of you! Love ya!

Tell Kristen congrates. She is beautiful. I bet you are just loving it. It must be fun to be a grandma and love as much as mom, but not have to go through labor. By the way, thanks for the comment about missing us at church. I felt like we up and left and no one noticed. Maybe Kathy just doesn't tell us what people say, but it is like we were never missed. I thought you were great to sit by too, not only did you share your treats with my kids, but you didn't look at me like I was a terrible mom either when Marissa can't whisper!
