Christmas Break is Over!

I can't believe how fast time flies! Christmas break is already over......Thank goodness I love my job, or today would have been a really sad day. For New Year's Eve, we went to dinner with some friends, and then we all got together with our families afterward to play games (Thanks Hess family for hosting!). New Year's Day we went and saw "Despereaux" and I would not recommend it to watch. Greg kept falling asleep and Tyson slept through most of it.....it was a very dark show, and it seemed to go on forever! On the 2nd, the highlight of the day was taking the boys to go swimming at the Nat. They had been begging me to take them, but they had been closed for most of the break. They got brave and jumped off the high-dive. It was awesome! When Mishae gets her pictures downloaded, I will post some. Friday night Bear River beat Box Elder at the endowment basketball game....Go Bears! Afterwards, our Young Women had a sleep-over party. The way they play "spoons" was dangerous! I had always played where you put the spoons in the middle of a table....not these girls! They put the spoons up the stairs in another room. So, you have a mad dash up the stairs with people pulling on legs, tripping, etc. It was hilarious though! Saturday I went bead shopping with some FUN ladies! Greg took the boys and a neighbor boy bowling....What a good dad! Then Sunday after our late church (1-4 now!), they taught me how to make watch bands. I am pretty impressed with my craftiness! Last night it was really hard for me and the boys to get to sleep. We have really gotten used to staying up late and sleeping in this break. During the night, Kaden had a bad dream, so I woke up this morning with two boys alseep squished together on my floor. They were in the small space between my side of the bed and the wall. I guess they do actually love each other! I should have taken a picture to prove it!

Bead shopping sounds fun . . . .I was home watching football, yuck! I'm glad to see that you too have children who crawl into bed with you. At least yours only crawl into bed once in a while, Kellen still comes in almost every night.

Bead shopping is addicting I have decided. I wouldn't recommend that movie to anyone either. I did however like Bed Time Stories. There are so many more movies I want to see! You should have just taken an extra day of vacation! I know some people did!

Your break sounds like a busy one. Thanks for the heads up on the movie. Isn't it great to see your kids love each other. BTW, that grandbaby of yours is absolutely adorable!
