Newest Cubs Fan....and Super Bowl
- Kristen sent me this picture of baby Makenzie in her Cubs nightgown that Greg bought her for Christmas. We believe in starting the brain-washing process at a young age! She is really a darling Cubs fan though.
- Yesterday was the Super Bowl. We had some friends over to watch the big game. It was fun to get to visit...even if the ladies did more visiting than actually watching. I always like to watch the commercials and half-time show the best. My favorite commercial this year was the potato head one. Go ahead and feel free to comment on your favorite! I actually had to watch the commercial clips online, because I did too much visiting and didn't see them all. We had lots of great food at the party. Today at school I gave away a couple of Nerf footballs to the kids who guessed the score and winning team the closest to the actual game. The boys were all bummed when a girl was the first place winner! Go girl power!
- I apparently forgot one Super Bowl tradition. Tyson came in and asked me where the "fish nuts" were. I was so confused! He said, "Remember, you always make the fish nuts for the super bowl." I still didn't know what he was talking about! Then, through questioning, I finally realized in years past I have made a candy kind of mix. I put in nuts, swedish fish, M & M's, and all sorts of other candies. Anyway, I forgot this year. I guess fish nuts will have to be on the menu next year!
- Thanks to everyone who came to the game party at our house on Saturday. I had lots of fun!

Oh she is a doll isn't she? Carter found Kami's Cubs nightgown the other day and was so confused why a girl wanted baseballs. Ry finally had to tell him it was a nighttime dress so Carter wouldn't go put it in his dresser!
Hmm, I love fish nuts too, but not the nuts part, just the swedish fish and M&M's. Gotta love the Tyse.

I too will have to watch them online.... if you wouldn't have been talking so much maybe I could have watched but as of now... I am unprepared! Makenzie is so cute in the cubs nightgown (she makes a great fan) and that bow ended up looking really cute with it... or is that another one? They look the same in the picture but I remember you telling me you bought another one... one to brainwash both babies with. It sounds like Carter needs some cub pjs for Valentine's Day!
