Bear River Takes State!!!

It has been a fun basketball season watching the Bears this year. They are a very talented group of boys. Greg has enjoyed helping out the coaching staff, and our boys have really looked up to the ball players on this team, which has been OK with us, since they are such a great group of kids. Tonight the Bears played Logan for championship at the E Center in Salt Lake. The boys (especially Tyson) were really hyped about having their faces painted for the game. Maddie thought the paint was fun too....but as you can tell from the pictures, she thought the treats were the best. The Hodge family had too much fun spoiling her with treats. Makenzie thought the game was a big snooze until toward the end of the game, and then she thought the lights that flash around the arena were awesome. She is such a good baby. Both the boys went with Greg to the Thursday morning game (they skipped school and work) while I stayed at home and worked. I was so glad they won so that they played Friday and Saturday nights so I could go and watch too. The boys got to sit on folding chairs on the floor right behind the team. They thought they were hot stuff! Friday night Tyson rode on the bus home with Greg and the team. Tonight both Kaden and Tyson are riding home with them. They couldn't understand why I wouldn't want to ride on the bus too with a team of sweaty ballplayers! Kaden texted me a few minutes ago. They stopped in Roy to eat, and I guess it was taking quite a while to get their food. He is tired, but I bet they are having a great time!

We had a lot of fun watching the games this weekend. Is Greg sad to see it end? We watched your cute kids run around on the floor and have fun!

I bet your boys had a great time riding the bus. Tyson was so cute and excited last night. It was fun to watch his reaction.
