Last night was a little hectic. I had parent/teacher conferences until 6:30, Kaden and Greg went to his conference with his teacher, Tyson had football practice.....but we still ran to Logan after all was said and done to the Odyssey Dance Company's production of "Thriller". Before the performance, zombies were wandering around the auditorium. The boys did not enjoy that part of the night....it really made them nervous. Greg, as you can see, was hamming it up with them. The performance was incredible. They did all kinds of dancing: river dancing, tap, ballet, jazz, you name it! All of the numbers had a Halloween theme to them. One of my favorites was a clogging type of number where they used black lighting and all you saw were the white shoes dancing. Pretty soon skeletons appeared dancing with the feet. I think they must have had some sort of tear-away black costume on for the first part that they discarded so that you could then see the skeletons. Both the boys loved it.....and for those of you that know Tyson well....he generally falls asleep 30 minutes into any type of movie or play, and he stayed awake until the end. I laughed though when he asked me if they were going to have an interruption halfway through the evening.....he meant intermission! The only bad part was it ended at 10:30 on a school night and we still needed to travel home. That might make us bad parents, but we sure enjoyed it. Score one for the Leader and getting us free tickets!

So fun! So um, we like the Leader too, hint hint. Just Kidding. Oh and I don;t think you are bad parents. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow and that means a lot coming from me-Mrs. schedule natzi!
That looks like so much fun! I am sure my kids would have freaked out too.
Sounds like you had a great night! Looks like tons of fun! I can only imagine how Kellen would have reacted. He screams and cries when he sees the Jazz Bear or Mickey Mouse. Can you imagine how he would be around zombies?
I'm so sad we couldn't go. I'm glad you guys had a good time! Love you!
Looks like a Thriller of a time! :)
