On the fifth, my dad was working and my mom had a hair appointment.  Kaden and I decided to go to a movie with Ryan and Kristen and their kids before they went camping with Kristen's family that night.  We went to see "Despicable Me 2".  While there, we saw a cardboard cutout of the new Monster movie.  Ryan decided we needed to take a picture of me in the cutout so that we could text it to Greg and tell him that Kaden and I had headed to Disneyland since they were in New York.

After the movie, we went to Petco and McKee's Pet Store.  Kaden is bound and determined he wants a German Shepherd puppy, even though I have no idea where we would put one.  The kids liked looking at all the animals and having fun on the toys there.  I saw a toy poodle there I fell in love with.  Ry took a picture of me with him and sent it to Greg to tell him I had gotten it.  Later that night Greg texted me to ask if I had gotten him and I told him no.  Kaden was hardly speaking to me because he really wants a German Shepherd.  Greg told me to go ahead and get the puppy.  I wasn't really planning on it on Friday.....but the next day....

 While we were at the petting zoo, we saw this huge goat.  We were sure she was hugely pregnant, and since Kaden is obnoxious and 14, he decided to call it Kassi since she is barely pregnant with twins and has a cute tiny tummy.  Mean teenage boys!

Later that night there was a horrible storm.  The rain came down really hard and there were severe weather alerts out.   There had been a tornado touch down somewhere.  Kristen texted me that they had arrived where they were camping and it was raining.  I told her about the tornado and she said they had heard about it on the radio.  When Carter heard, he immediately bowed his head to pray for help, but let Heavenly Father know he would die for his family if needed.  When Kristen told me that, I cried!  What a sweet boy!
