Boston/Cooperstown Trip Part One

When Greg, Tyson, Rob, and Baylor first arrived in Boston they took a cab/van to their hotel 15 miles away.  I guess traffic was horrible, so it cost them $70 in cab fare.  They said they learned their lesson and would be taking the subway afterwards.
On their travels they came across where the first bomb detonated during the Boston Marathon. I sent Greg and Tyson a picture of some ribs I was barbecuing for dinner.  They sent me back the picture below of Tyson eating ribs at a restaurant called "The Fours".  They said it was a place kind of like Cheers.  I decided Tyson won since he didn't have any clean up afterwards.

The second night they sent me a picture of Greg eating pizza at a place called Unos.  They also told us about a place that sold amazing cannoli. I guess they ate it before the game and then traveled by subway again to have it after the game.  They also watched the fireworks.

They attended two Red Sox games while there.  I will have Greg add more pictures and give more details later.

Heading out from Boston to Cooperstown. They rented a car for the drive.  They also had to pick up another teammate for the ride, so they were really crammed in with all of their gear and people.

 Entering the Cooperstown Park.

This is the Sandy Kofax barracks where the Sidewinders team will be staying for the week.

The first night Greg sent me a picture of the boys dying of heat about 11:30 p.m.  I guess the barracks are really hot, but the humidity is also really high, so they were roasting!
