Kristen and Dave had a camping trip they needed to go on for the group home they work for. Madison didn't want to go because she had her kindergarten field trip to Hogle Zoo. Greg decided to take the day off so that he could go on the field trip with her. We decided to keep Kenzie too, so Greg met up with Dave and Kris in Salt Lake on the morning of the trip. Since Tyson had a game in Salt Lake later that day and needed to be there earlier than I could make it to warm up, Greg took Tyson with him also. Kaden and I met up with them along with Jayson and Kassi at the game. They had a blast at the zoo. During the game, Maddie was petting Jay and Kassi's puppy, Dixie. She was kind of going at Dixie's face, which made her nervous and she nipped at Maddie. It broke Maddie's heart. She started sobbing. When I tried to console her she said, "But Grandma, this was supposed to be the best day EVER....and now it's not!" She is so funny! It was hard not to laugh, even though I felt bad for her. We went out to eat and had fun with the girls. Wednesday Kaden stayed home from school and tended. He was so excited to spend some time playing with the girls. Thursday Greg took the girls on some errands to Logan. They got princess crowns and dress up jewels. They thought they were awesome! Both girls were so good the whole time they were here. Greg took lots of pictures at the zoo:
