Fun Weekend

On November 30th, Greg bought tickets for all our married kids and ourselves to go and watch a really funny comedian named Brian Regan for part of their Christmas presents.  We had really been looking forward to it.  Well, Dave and Kristen had some conflicts at work and were unable to come.  We left Ryan and Kristen's three little ones at home with our friend Mishae Nelson.  Before we left, Carter and Kami each took baths.  I got a little carried away with how many bubbles I had added to the tub, so when the kids hit the jets, it was very soupy looking.  Here is Kami laughing and telling me she is "Bubble Doop (soup)".  She is such a little doll.  Kaden and Tyson ended up watching the show with us.  Tyson was not impressed.  The next morning Tyson had a ball game at 8:00 a.m. in Logan.  It was too early for everyone else to want to get up and attend, but Greg and I and Carter all went to watch.  It was cute to see Carter and how excited he was to be there cheering on Tyson.  At every break, he went out and shot some hoops with Grandpa.  After we got back to Tremonton, Jayson and Kassi came back to town from Brigham and the men all got together to set Tyson apart as a deacon. He has been looking forward to that so much.  It was fun playing games and hanging out with them all.  Tyson got to pass the sacrament for the first time on Sunday.  He looked so grown up!  He did a great job.  He told me after that he was pretty nervous, but he knew he had done a good job.  He was even excited to get to go after church and collect fast offerings.  Too bad I know that the enthusiasm for that job will die out quickly!
