Today Tyson's baseball team all met at the University of Utah at 9:00 a.m. to do the rope course as a team building activity. Greg went and met Ryan and Kristen last night half way and picked up Carter and Kamdyn. I took them with me to Salt Lake this morning to drop Tyson off and then go visit the zoo. Greg had to work in Preston, and Kaden had marching band practice this morning. The kids and I had a blast at Hogle Zoo, and Tyson had a great time at the rope course. After picking him up at 1:00, we went out to lunch with the Sidewinders team to Hires. It was a lot of fun.

The spider monkeys are what Kami and Carter both kept talking about last night that they wanted to see. So we took a few pictures of them. I must admit they were pretty fun to watch though.
A couple of extra monkeys we found at the zoo!
Elephants
Rhinos
Lemurs
The new polar bear exhibit that just opened was really fun.
Kami took our picture during the elephant show.
After the elephant show we went to the birds in flight show. I wish I would have thought to have taken some pictures, as I think it was our favorite part of the zoo. The kids sat enthralled and I loved it too. They have all different types of birds swooping over your heads in the audience. Carter kept giggling as he told me about which birds he thought had touched his hair. I was probably because his hair was spiked up from Grandpa's styling this morning!!
We loved the carousel.
The train ride was fun.
Kami picked out a giraffe umbrella and Carter picked out a fan that sprays water straight from the cooler. I think he was a pretty hot boy. I tried to talk him into a zoo helmet that had a headlamp on it, but the coolness won out.
This is a couple of pictures of the rope course. I should of taken more pictures to show how big it was. We picked Tyson up at 1:00. He said it was really fun.
We ate lunch with the team and headed home. Obviously the rope course and the zoo tired some children out!

You are such an awesome Grandma to take my kids for a couple days and take them fun places! Carter made me laugh when he was talking about lunch and said he wasn't sure what he was going to drink but you said he needed the rootbeer because it was famous or something. Oh I love my crazy kids!
