After the parade this morning, we came home for a little while. I headed over to my school to get some stuff out of my car that I had purchased yesterday while Greg did a short basketball practice with Tyson and a couple of his friends. Kaden was going in the car with me to the school, when suddenly he yelled out, "Stop the car!" He saw our neighbor, Julie Lish, out mowing her lawn and wanted to stop and do it for her. What a sweet boy! Tyson and two of his friends, Jake and Makayden, played in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament as part of the celebration. There were 5 teams. They took second. The team that beat them was 2 years older than them, and Nate, Jakes' older brother, was on that team. They only lost by 2 points, so I thought they did awesome. After the tournament was the fireman's water fight. As you can tell, the boys thought it was fabulous. Later tonight is the fireworks.....should be fun!
