Last weekend we traveled to Las Vegas for a ball tournament Tyson's team, The Sidewinders, were playing in. We got there the night before the tournament began, and Greg gave Kaden the choice of whatever he wanted to do that first night. I thought for sure we were going to get to go to a good show. I knew the Broadway show "The Lion King" was playing.....but no....Kaden picked going to the Rio for the seafood buffet. Here are Kaden and I enjoying crab.....

Here are Greg and Tyson enjoying nachos and egg rolls (they are not seafood fans). I told them $40 each to eat nachos and Chinese food was not a bargain.

We stopped at a huge souvenir store in Vegas, and here are the three men folk trying on some awesome hats. The boys each ended up buying a toy car.

We also stopped at the Bass Pro Shop. I wasn't excited to go here, but I was pleasantly surprised at how many neat displays they had. While Greg was outside taking pictures....I was inside the store enjoying the fire. Greg made fun of me, but it was kind of cold outside!

There was this HUGE aquarium inside. We stood for quite a while watching all the different types of fish swim by.

The guys found a motorcycle that was built on the show "American Choppers."

Here is one of the displays inside the store with a HUGE fish swimming by.

We were really excited the first day when we got to the field for Tyson's team to play. This stadium is AMAZING!! Each field is made to look like a major league baseball park. We thought at first that he was going to get to play at "Wrigley Field," but the game was moved to "Angel's Stadium." You can see the rock formation in the outfield, and the "fans" that are really graphics in the outfield. The dirt and the grass are actually turf.

Here is a picture of the 10U Salt Lake Sidewinders Team.

Here is Tyson pitching the second day. We played at a different park on day two and three. His team has started calling him "CC" because everyone says he looks like CC Sebathia. I had to look him up to see what he looked like.....and I can actually see a resemblance.

Diving in.....Tyson always has to have the dirtiest uniform on the team!

During the game against the Las Vegas Bulldogs, Tyson hit a home run over center field fence and hit the top of a car. Here he is coming in to home!

Sliding in to third.

I would have ate my 40.00 in crab too...YUMMY! We went to the Bass shop in Indiana with the kids. Isn't it funny how entertaining a sports shop can be. We loved the aquarium!!! What a fun vacation.
