Temple Square Lights

Monday night we drove to Salt Lake in the afternoon for Tyson to play two basketball games with the Aggies team he has been playing with for an AAU tournament. Monday and Tuesday mornings he also played in Malad with the Bears team he plays for in a tournament there. After winning both games Monday night, we went over to Jayson and Kassi's house with Kris and her girls to have dinner. Kaden also had a friend along, Caleb, so we had lots of fun. It was nice for Tyson to have so much support at his games, and it is always fun to get to hang out with family. Tuesday afternoon we headed back to Salt Lake for another game. After the game, we had dinner, and then stopped at temple square to see the lights. We hadn't made it before Christmas this year, and I love to see the lights. They are so incredibly beautiful. We had the chance to watch the Nativity out on the lawn, and also in one of the theaters there. Greg had fun teasing with the sister missionaries. We were really lucky the weather was not too cold, and the lights are so amazing. Wednesday morning we woke up to a blizzard! Greg went up and down the street clearing sidewalks and driveways for people, and came home half frozen to death! It made me really happy we saw the lights on Tuesday night and didn't wait for our Wednesday trip!
