Gearing up for the fair

I can't believe it is almost fair time again! Which also means that school starts soon! I couldn't believe it when the calendar page turned to August. Summer flew by way too fast. This year Tyson is old enough to join Kaden in getting to show a lamb at the fair. Our good friend Becky got Kristen and Jayson showing sheep when they were teenagers, and her family has graciously let Kaden and now Tyson also get in on the action. Today the boys washed their sheep in preparation for them being sheared tonight. Tyson has also been practicing football almost every night. I have been working a lot since August hit, so we have been keeping busy. This is a really busy time for Greg at the paper as well. Tonight (in between washing sheep, football practice, and and walking sheep) our ward had a family primary party for the primary workers and their families. They had the party at Fridal's home, so the boys had fun swimming with some of the other kids. Last night, Greg didn't have bishopric meeting because the bishop had some conflicts. so we ordered pizza and went to the park and played for a while after Tyson's football practice. We need to milk all of the fun out of this summer while it is still here!
