January and Birthdays

Madison and Grandpa enjoying the scooter. Jayson and Kassi gave Makenzie a bunch of toys. She especially loved the bubbles and the jump rope. We had so much fun watching her jump. It was adorable. Tyson and Makenzie enjoying the scooter. I loved how she cheesed it up for pictures. This past week we had a lot of fun celebrating Jayson and Makenzie's birthdays. Last Saturday after Tyson's basketball games in Ogden and baseball practice in Salt Lake, we met up with Jayson and Kassi to go to dinner for Jayson's birthday. We helped keep Jayson out of the house because Kassi threw him a surprise party. What a nice wife! This week after games and practice, we met up with the Archer clan and Jay and Kassi to celebrate Makenzie's third birthday. Except, when you ask her how old she is....she let's you know, "I not be 3. I be 29." We met up with them in south Salt Lake where they were buying a dog at a Petco. We then went to a place that had roller skating and arcade games. Kaden played lots of arcade games and kept us laughing with the prizes he won. He bought a buzzer that shocks your hand and two things of fake gum. One pack shocks you when you try and take a piece, the other one has a spring like a mouse trap that hits your finger. Kris and Dave were working, so they had some of their girls with them. Kaden and Kris both got quite a few of them with these pranks. We ended up having pizza at the rink, and then afterward went out for frozen yogurt. We talked to them again today to wish her a happy birthday on her real celebration day. I love that Greg's phone as an ap on it so that we can see the kids while we are talking to them. We sure do love our family!!
