Christmas Eve

We started out Christmas Eve day with Tyson at the doctor's office. He had been feeling quite ill the day before in Pocatello, and had a fever and a sore throat. I took him to the doctor's office instead of his basketball practice in Logan. Luckily he did not have strep throat. It is just a virus. It probably doesn't help that he has been so busy playing a lot of ball and probably not getting as much rest as he needs. After the doctor, Jayson and Kassi showed up at the house. It was fun to get to have them. Kassi is a great sport and helped the boys make a Sponge Bob pineapple gingerbread house. After making the house, Jayson and Kassi played a bunch of Minute-to Win it games with us. They are always in charge of entertainment. We then headed to Logan. The boys each needed to buy each other presents for Christmas Day. I also had the boys each buy Greg a gift, and he did the same thing for me. Then we headed over for our traditional Christmas Eve Chinese dinner. After eating too much, we headed home to wrap gifts and watch "Christmas Story." Kassi ran the two boys around to a few friends' houses to deliver a few gifts. Then we opened up our Christmas p.j.'s before heading to bed. Jayson and Kassi helped us get out all the presents. I sure do love all the help they give us.
