Salt Lake Weekend

Friday night Tyson had an AAU game in Salt Lake with the Aggie's team he plays on. We knew if they won, they would play for the state championship on Saturday, so we packed a bag just in case. They did win Friday night, so we spent the night in Salt Lake. We had called Jayson and Kassi to see if we could stay at their house, so even though they were in St. George staying with friends, they had house guests! We went to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. We had never been there before, and it was kind of fun! I loved all the lights, the shark hanging from the ceiling, and the music. Tyson loved the pirate who made balloon animals. He got an alien, and a fish that was attached to a pole. Pretty clever! After dinner, we did a little shopping, and then headed over to the movie theater to see what was playing at 9:30 at night. We ended up watching a movie called, "I am Four." It was pretty intense and scary! We all loved it, but Tyson and I were holding onto each other, and Kaden kept hiding his face in Greg's arm. Saturday afternoon, the team got to play in the championship game. It was a really intense game, but the Aggies ended up winning by about 5. Tyson had 15 points and lots of rebounds. He played really well. Kaden was videotaping a lot of the game, and at the game I saw him reviewing some of his camerawork. Come to find out....he kept videoing a kid on the other team that had gotten a technical foul called on him that was really upset and throwing a bit of a fit. Kaden thinks he is hilarious for catching it on film! He is SO his father's son! Here is the team with the medals they received. It was a great tournament!
