I haven't posted as much as I would like, life keeps getting busier and busier! Tonight Tyson had baseball practice, so while Greg and Ty were out freezing in the cold weather this last storm brought in, Kaden and I did some grocery shopping. Kent's was a zoo today, I guess everyone else was trying to get ready for the Easter weekend too. Kaden picked out the stuff for dinner, so I made him do most of the cooking. He made beef fajitas, and I must admit, they turned out pretty tasty. When Greg and Tyson got home, we had the boys do the annual egg dyeing. Tomorrow we are having the annual Easter egg hunt here at the house for Kaden, Tyson, and the grandkids. We got lots of fun prizes for everyone.

On a sadder note, yesterday was not a good April Fool's Day for our family. My brother, Rick, was in a bad car accident. He has been managing a Schwann's depot in Virginia while his family was living in Rexburg. They just recently sold their home and are getting ready to move. Rick was checking on his new home that is just getting finished being built. He turned at a stop sign, and was broad-sided by another car. He has broken some ribs, has a fractured neck, is in traction, has a smashed hip that they are still going to have more surgery on, has burns from the air bags, etc. The good news is he didn't have a brain injury which was a concern at first. We are going to have to have a talk with him about what types of pranks are good to pull on your family! His wife, Teresa, flew out yesterday as soon as she could after hearing the news, but it still pulled at your heartstrings knowing he didn't have family there with him for quite a while. Things like this sure make you realize how much your family means to you!

We went to Kents tonight as well. It was a zoo! I ended up just sending in Tayler and Kenzie. Hope your brother gets feeling better soon. Accidents are scary things....I agree you must have a talk with him about those kinds of pranks!
That's so scary. I hope that he makes a quick recovering - sounds like some serious injuries :( I've been on the receiving end of one of those phone calls before, you're right - never want it repeated.
