Junior Jazz basketball has come to a close. Greg's 5th and 6th grade team started out really struggling. But Greg has had lots of practices and the boys really worked hard. At the start of the end of the year tournament, they were ranked number 7. They showed everyone and took second! Way to go boys! They played Saturday morning and won by two, so they then got to play in the championship game. Their team was down by one point, and at the buzzer Tyson threw up a fifteen foot shot. It was straight but hit the back of the rim and did not go in. It was a bit of heart-breaker, but there was no way to be disappointed. They lost to a team with lots of sixth graders that had been ranked as the one or two seed.
Here are the boys getting their trophies.
Here are the 2010 second place winners in the fifth and sixth grade division.
What good looking guys! Sure do love them!
After the games, we ran to Ogden to do some shopping. Greg needed to get some things for his baseball team before we go to St. George this week. I have been saying I needed to add some color to the family room. We found this wall hanging and a couple of green pillows. Give me your honest opinion....what do you think? Is it OK, or too retro?
They are cute boys! Way to go, brudders!! I already told you this, but I LOVE the wall hanging and the pillows. I forgot to look at it in person the other day, but I like it a lot from the pictures.
Okay I love the colors and initially I really liked the wall hanging-and who knows maybe I still will in person, but part of me wonders if it really is the EXACT thing you were looking for. Other than the green it still has many of the same neutral colors you had in the room so maybe there is something else to make it pop more? I do love the pillows though. Hopefully Greg doesn't do like Ry does with ours and just throw them on the floor though! Love ya

I too LOVE the picture hanging on the wall. I can't wait to see it in person.
I think you did good. It looks great! Way to go Tyson and Kaden!

I love all the action photos of the boys! That is awesome they did so well! I love your wall hanging!
I really like the wall hanging and pillows. I think when I get brave enough to put holes in my walls I'm going to have to call you to help decorate.
