Valentine's Day

I love Valentine's Day and all it stands for! At school, we made Valentine boxes that were really cute out of Kleenex boxes...I wish I would have taken pictures. They turned them on the side to have the opening as a mouth. They then used felt to cut teeth, and used pipe cleaners coming out of the top of the box with google eyes glued, and then they looked kind of like aliens. We had lots of heart, flower and other die cuts out of foam that they stuck to the boxes. They were pretty fun. Last night Greg and I went to dinner and a movie with some friends. We had a great time visiting and laughing at the movie. We saw the show "Valentine's Day". It was kind of cute. I got to thinking today that it will be 30 years ago this May that Greg and I met. Time has sure flown by. I can't believe how much I love that man! I thought all those years ago that I knew what love was all about....but I was sure wrong. This morning when Greg's alarm went off at 6:00 (he has early morning bishopric meetings) we exchanged Valentines. It reminded me again how lucky I am! When the boys woke up they surprised me with a corsage to wear to church and a card. Cute boys! It won't be many more years while I am the Valentine for them! Friday afternoon Kristen and Maddie and Makenzie stopped by to bring me this pretty Valentine flower. Love it! They were on their way to Sandy to spend the weekend with Dave's family. Maddie was so cute giving it to me! Little kids are so fun! I hope everyone has at least one wonderful Valentine in their life! I am so blessed to have so many!

Maddie thought it was pretty exciting to give it to you. She talked about it the whole ride to Sandy and told Dave how happy it made you! :) Cute girl.
