On Thursday of last week, the boys and I headed to Lagoon to meet up with my brother, Doug, sister-in law, Valorie, five of their kids, my mom, and my brother Jim's two kids. Mom was tending for Jim and Kim while Kim was at girl's camp. Here is a picture of Tyson, the twins, and Kortlan on the Merry-Go-Round. They had this little car spinning so fast even before the ride started. After the ride, Tyson had a bellyache and thought he might throw up!
After we had been to Lagoon for about an hour, it started to rain. As it began to rain, the kids decided they wanted to ride Rattlesnake Rapids. They got soaked! After the ride, we were waiting for them under an awning. We waited and waited....no kids! The next thing we know, we hear them screaming. We look over the railing, and the little turkeys had hopped on the ride again. Needless to say, they did not have a dry spot on their entire bodies!
It continued to rain the rest of the afternoon and evening we were there, but as you can see, that did not dampen their excitement! I had bought our boys new clothes at Lagoona Beach because they were miserable. I also bought rain ponchos. As you can see in Tyson's picture, he still managed to get the new clothes wet. He went to ride the raft that takes you down a water hill. When he left to go on the ride, he had his poncho on, but he took it off to ride the water ride! What the heck!
