Well, Kristen and Ryan did good had Kristen had labor on Labor Day. Sophie Annlyn Madson was born on September 3, 2012 at 3:05 a.m. She weighed 6 pounds and 14 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. She is beautiful! When she was born they found out she had done some flips and created a knot in the cord. When she was delivered, that caused the knot to tighten. We are so lucky she was born healthy! We love her to pieces already! Kristen and Ryan headed to the hospital during my mom's birthday party. We came home after the party. Ryan texted us during the night with the above picture. Tyson had games on Labor Day, so Kaden and I headed to Pocatello to meet up with Jayson and Kassi to see the new bundle. 
We had to make sure and undo her blankets to see her hands and feet. We got a good laugh at how long her toes are. As soon as we undid her feet, she stretched her toes out like she was so excited to get them out in the air. It was cute.
Carter and Kamdyn love their baby sister. I was nervous how Carter would react to the baby being a girl. I shouldn't have worried. Sophie gave him a new sword at the hospital. She must be the best sister ever!

Tuesday right after school, Greg was ready for us to head to Pocatello again so he could meet our new grand-daughter.
