Saturday after Thanksgiving, we got up and headed out to Tyson's basketball game in Smithfield. When the game was over, we went and spent the day and evening in Preston for Greg to work taking pictures of some of the city's activities. The day started off with bed races. There were five different teams that raced. They had one person riding on a bed, with four people pushing. Halfway through the race, they change the person who is riding with another person (and they have to change the rider's nightshirt onto the other rider). It was pretty funny. Unfortunately the Preston Citizen's team did not do very well. After the bed races we went and walked through a craft fair. They then had a children's parade. After the parade there was a free movie in the town theater. We had dinner at a little pizza place in Preston, and then it was time for the light parade. Santa arrives at the end of the light parade. Greg spent most of the day with a video camera or a still camera around his neck. It was a good day, and I am thankful for a husband who works so hard for us.
