New Year's Day 1/1/11

New Year's Eve we ended up hanging out with some friends until 2:30 in the morning.....it was fun.....but I think I am getting too old for that late of a night! The boys thought staying up that late was awesome and didn't even want to go to bed when they got home. It was only 1 degree F when we left to come home....brrr!!! We woke up on New Year's Day and headed to SLC again (fourth time this week) to go to a Sidewinders team party. The team met at Fat Cats and had pizza and bowled. At the end of the party they gave out Christmas team gifts. They gave all the moms blankets with the Sidewinders logo; the dads got team hats with their kid's numbers on the back; the boys got beanies with their logo and number and wristbands, and we also got a sticker for the car. After the party we tried to go to Greg's favorite store, but it was closed for the holiday. Greg told Kaden he could pick something to do, so we ended up going to see the movie, "Gulliver's Travels." It was a pretty cute show. After, we walked around the Gateway for a while. It was so cold, but it was fun to see the huge Christmas tree and that the fountains were still spraying. Then we headed to the Jazz game. It was a close game, but the Jazz ended up beating the Grizzlies. We had pretty good seats and it was a fun night. It was a fun way to spend 1/1/11! Hope everyone else had a great start to the new year!
