This fall, Tyson decided he wanted to play football. He was actually old enough last year, but we decided we wanted to give him another year before we let him commit to practices every week night and games on Saturdays. Greg and I decided to ask if he could play up a year in age group since Tyson is so big. The coaches from his 8 year old age group tried convincing Greg and I that we didn't want to play him up a year, because he would get hurt. Well, as you can see in this picture, Tyson is not getting hurt. He is the one making a pancake out of the little guy in the white uniform. This game is in Ogden. All the kids were here for the Labor Day weekend, so it was really fun for Tyson to get to have the whole family there cheering him on. Tyson has not enjoyed all the practices for football, but he really likes the games. His coach, Ryan Kent, has really taught him a lot about being a lineman. Go Bears!

Nope, he is NOT getting hurt! HE HE!
Awesome picture . . . I think you can safely say that it was a wise decision to have him play up. What a kid!
That is an awesome tackle!
