Distinguished Service Award

After 21 years as being the publisher of the Tremonton Leader (and four years of also being publisher of the Preston Citizen), Greg has taken a new job.  He will be working for a company called Multiview in Lehi.  We are getting our home ready to sell.  We are not sure exactly where we are moving yet.  Right now, the plan is that I will continue to work in Brigham and the boys will continue to go to school there.  If our home sells quickly, then I might look for a job more south, if not, we will continue in Brigham and move somewhere down there until Kaden graduates from high school.

Greg received a Distinguished Service award at the Chamber of Commerce banquet.  He was so mad at me this night.  His plan was to go to the high school basketball game on this evening.  He had employees covering the banquet.  I didn't know he was receiving this award.  I got a call not long after the banquet had started from the assistant editor, Jessica Tanner, asking if there was any way I could get him there.  I told Greg I was going to the game with him.  I drove and dropped the boys at the door and told him to stay in with me to go and park the car.  I then proceeded to drive out to Garland to the banquet.  When he realized where I was heading, he told me he didn't want to go.  I told him he needed to be there for his last year as publisher.  He was mad because he wasn't dressed for the banquet, and wanted to go to the game.  After he got the award, I think I was forgiven.
